Platform Zero is a series of digital photographs collaged, inspired by the British artist David Hockney. The intention is to manipulate the viewing convention of images by slight change in direction, and exposure of that view. The final photograph is constructed by overlapping rows and columns of images. Architecture becomes mis-registered falling back or forward in space, exposures are uneven, and edges around the image are left un-cropped. The visual language of using multiple photographs to build a single photograph may not be unique, but an unfamiliar way of seeing the space we pass through.

During the course of this project, I kept thinking about what is the draw? to these places. They all having meaning to me personally, not just a tourist destination.
