TRADE BOOK
As a visually driven person I draw inspiration from all directions. I think observation is a part the study of visual literacy. Observation, processing, recording or documenting – perhaps sharing.
We are bombarded with images everyday – mostly advertising, some art images, current events and personal images from friends social media accounts as well as where our interest follows.
We might becoming ‘over-processors’ from the high volume. (Digital Marketing experts estimate that most Americans are exposed to around 4,000 to 10,000 advertisements each day.).
I felt moved to create a liner version of random photographs with subject matter I was inspired by: textural, colorful, odd, typography, botanical – basically anything. With the ease of creating print on demand books I made a few with each image on one page to spend more time per image with a book, than the format it is presented here.
